The Campbell Opera Librettist Prize

Mark and librettist Michael Korie formed the Dramatists Guild Opera Committee to help the industry form standards in regards to artistic control, commissioning fees and authorship credit. From his work as co-chair on that committee, he identified a need to elevate the role of the opera librettist and in 2020 created the Campbell Opera Librettist Prize. Mark continues to fund the award, administered biannually by OPERA America.
